I lived in Vegas for almost 5 years and I never went to COMDEX or CES. I actually avoided the strip during those events. As a local, millions of drunken geeks, were a thing to flee from. Especially when the porn industry trade show used to happen at the same time - millions of drunk, horny geeks <shudder>.
Bu this year I’m excited about going (thankfully the porn convention isn’t this week). If you’re at CES I’ll be at the HP booth Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, feel free to stop by and say hi. I’m also looking forward to BlogHaus. I’ll be there Monday night for sure, maybe even Sunday, after HP’s kickoff meeting that night.
