I first discovered Howard Rheingold’s book ‘Smart Mobs’ just a few years ago. This video points out that he was talking about things 20+ years ago I was studying in college barely 15 years ago, I wish I had known about his work then.Check out his ongoing video series and be sure to follow his blog www.smartmobs.com.

A little dry, but the best description I’ve heard for describing what the Semantic Web is and why it’s all the buzz right now.I still think the best and immediate applications will see from the Semantic camp are for internal/intranets.
