Podcasting dead or alive? TrendsSpotting marketing indicators

I don’t think we ever saw the full promise of podcasting many early adopters (myself included) were preaching. But I also think that the concept of podcasting has changed the way we think and talk about online media. I also think that podcasting may never reach mass media appeal, but I don’t think it’s supposed to.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the ramifications of society being so connected. I’m constantly reminded about a quote by Ian Malcom in Jurassic Park, where he says the reason the dinosaurs went extinct was because they were too interconnected and Dependant on each other. Imagine what would happen today if the internet went away tomorrow.
